Software Support Specialist I - Republic Finance, LLC (memphis, tennessee)

The Software Support Specialist is located in Republic Finances Support Center in Memphis, TN. A relocation bonus will be offered for the candidate selected if they are not located within 25 miles of Memphis. Job responsibilities are as follows: Work directly with the Senior Support Specialist to provide timely corrections to any support issue that is assigned.Troubleshoot and log all branch reported issues received via the support ticketing system or issues received directly from the accounting department, which are bank corrections, monthly suspense issues or issues received directly from the Audit department.Work with the Branch Offices to make corrections to the branch bank account; such as bank corrections that have not been completed, transactions that have caused problem or return checks that have not been reversed.Perform associated troubleshooting and assists users to explain and maintain the integrity of accounting data contained in absVision, which is the Primary Consumer Loan software.Work with abs, the software vendor, to troubleshoot software issues that may be the result of programming issues.Meet strict daily goals for telephone and e:mail responses that ensure quality customer service.Examine work for accuracy, neatness and conformance with established policies and procedures and recommends additional action when necessary.Utilize familiar terminology when speaking with the branch team members but is also able to interpret the needs of branch users with limited accounting, consumer finance or technical knowledge to ensure that appropriate level of customer service is provided.Document and Update Support Database as requiredCross train within Support TeamTake part in Special projects, as assigned.Minimum of AS Degree or 1.5+ years of branch experience with strong knowledge of Consumer Finance operations.Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and WordAbility to learn and understand software programs quickly Must be able to write, speak, and communicate in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct mannerMust be a self:starter, efficient at multi:tasking and have good organizational skills.Ability to work under high stress at times and be available for after:hours work on occasion Experience in consumer finance is a plus.We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including: Health/Dental/VisionPaid Vacation401 (K) and employer matchCompany provided Life Insurance and Long Term DisabilityAdditional benefits with Republic include:Regular drawings for sports ticketsEmployee of the Month ProgramPhilanthropic support for charities such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the American Cancer SocietyBeautiful offices with a friendly team environment Salary Range 34,000 : 36,000 Republic Finance, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age disability or veteran status in employment opportunities and benefits.
