DescriptionOBJECTIVE:Serves as a key player on the Marketing and Communications team by leading allorganizational graphic design efforts; consulting cross-functionally onproject conceptualization and execution; strategically managing website anddigital content; provide event support and perform other tasks promotingGoodwill of Colorado's diverse programs and brand.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate degree from an accreditedcollege or university in graphic design, visual arts, marketing or relatedfield. Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in graphicdesign-along with comparable experience in communications, marketingand/or a related field is required.Must demonstrate expertise using Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office,website content management systems, email marketing and customerrelationship management systems. Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge ofgraphic design principles, a wide variety of media and production methods,as well as conventional and digital print processes. Must also have excellentattention to detail, creativity, organization, analytical skills,budgeting and project management.Must have a valid Colorado driver's license and be available to drive onGoodwill business. Some travel within Colorado will be required, to supportevents and such. Must be able to work overtime, evenings and/or weekendsif required.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:Project SpecificThe Design and Digital Media Specialist will champion and promote Goodwill'smission and world-class brand through the following tactics:* Provide strategic counsel to internal and external stakeholders toconceptualize objectives, reach consensus, execute multi-mediacampaigns, and produce engaging collateral that extends brand awareness andachieves organizational goals.* Use Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office and other software platforms toproduce a broad range of innovative, professional grade print and electronicprojects, including: annual reports, brochures, newsletters,fliers, event collateral, publications, multi-media illustrations,logos, signage, videos and other visual materials. This role includesclose collaboration with a variety internal staff across the organization,as w* Strategize and grow organization's digital leadership in the retail andnonprofit industries. Manage website and other digital assets to align withcurrent organizational messaging and branding. Propose and manage designupdates to Goodwill's websites, and other online properties, primarilysocial media.* Serve as production coordinator for company-wide projects assigned to thedepartment. This responsibility will entail close consultations withstakeholders and progress tracking to ensure that projects are completed ontime, within budget and on par with or above stakeholders' expectations.* Adhere to, monitor and advance Goodwill's branding standards to ensurethe delivery of effective, dynamic and well-thought-out creative materialsand reflect the evolution of the Goodwill of Colorado brand.* Identify, implement and monitor cost-saving measures related to departmentand company-wide production needs.* In collaboration with other team members, utilize email marketing platform(currently Constant Contact) to design contemporary, targeted andengaging marketing communications.* Demonstrated proficiency in HTML coding and WordPress web development anddesign.* Research and stay abreast of current design trends and new technologiesthrough GII channels or other industry resources.CriticalThe incumbent must be able to effectively manage diverse responsibilities in adynamic and fast-paced environment.
