(USA-MO-Sedalia) Inbound Help Desk Technical Support

Inbound Help Desk Technical Support Location: Sedalia, Missouri Job Responsibilities: + Take inbound phone calls from internal and external customers supporting yearbook and student planner web applications. + Remain diligent to customer satisfaction by ensuring problems result in a resolution for all parties. + Accurately log all technical calls. + Review call logs. Analyze patterns and recommend additional training for staff and customers. + Create and update materials in support of programs offered for school yearbooks and student planners. + Act as liaison between customer service and web development team to ensure that web applications are operating at optimum level, and updated when appropriate. + Be able to successfully work with others in a positive, cooperative manner in a team- oriented environment to accomplish the company’s goals. + Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment. + Perform other related tasks as assigned and abide by all company policies. Desired skills: + High School education or equivalent. + 2 years in customer service. + Knowledge of fonts. + Knowledge of external support devices (Jump, Zip, CD drives). + Knowledge of desktop & publishing software (Photoshop, InDesign, Publisher, Illustrator and Excel) + Knowledge of printing process + Ability to interact with customer over the phone + Ability to talk to customers through difficulties without displaying frustration. + Ability to problem solve through deductive reasoning and trial/error. + Knowledge of Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
