**JOB TITLE:** Project Manager, IT

**REPORTS TO:** Director, PMO

**JOB SUMMARY:**

The Project Manager, IT is responsible for the establishment, day-to-day management, and successful delivery of IT projects by utilizing resources across the IT organization. This position will work in a very detailed analytical environment to ensure that all phases of a project are well documented and tracking to plan. A familiarity with a variety of development methodologies is required for the effective coordination across project and program teams.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** :

+ Assists in Business Case Development + Performs Project Planning + Coordinates and Plans scope and schedule management + Performs IT project execution + Monitors and Controls project activities + Updates and advises business and IT leadership on project status, including key risks and Issues, as well as any variances to plan + Adheres to IT Change management processes, to deliver upon completed projects + Additional responsibilities as required. + Complies at all times with the Standards, policies and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics set out in the Employee Handbook. + Assists in Business Case Development + Performs Project Planning + Coordinates and Plans scope and schedule management + Performs IT project execution + Monitors and Controls project activities + Updates and advises business and IT leadership on project status, including key risks and Issues, as well as any variances to plan + Adheres to IT Change management processes, to deliver upon completed projects + Additional responsibilities as required

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Bachelor's Degree Required + 3-7 years of related IT Project Manager experience in retail, consulting, pharmaceutical and/or financial services industries + PMP Certification Preferred, Agile Certification a plus + Web Development Project and JIRA/Confluence experience a plus + Previous experience in a Business Analysis and/or Development role is a plus + Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills + Ability to prioritize and work on several tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines + Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compose written correspondence + Robust organization skills and detailed oriented mentality + Strong Analytical and Interpersonal skills + Ability to manage a matrix staff and manage-up senior level business executives + Ability to negotiate with various business and IT groups and influence and indirectly manage a virtual staff + Knowledge of software development life cycle; application integration and application software package implementation + Working Knowledge of MS-Project, PowerPoint, MS-Word, Excel, Visio, Waterfall and Agile Methodologies + Knowledge of networking is a plus

+ CIO + Director, PMO + Business Leads/Owners + IT Business Analysts + IT QA Analysts + Developers + IT Architects + Project Sponsors + Business and IT Stakeholders + Other Project and Program Managers + Vendors (as necessary)
