Microsoft Shopping and Commerce team is looking for an experienced technical lead to direct a team of engineers to build a brand-new immersive shopping experience with modern, convenient user interface, and highly performant, reliable systems for online shoppers at scale.
As aSenior member of our team, you will lead and contribute to the work of a talented group that values diverse ideas, perspectives, andbackgrounds.On a daily basis, you will be involved in and responsible for:
+ Participation in the definition of key scenarios, use cases, and end-userexperiences. + Managing complex feature ownership by working with Program Management (PM) and engineeringteams. + Engineeringdevelopmentand maintenance foronline,largescale,commercial, consumer or internal development applications. + Evaluating broad range of different technologies, designing, implementing and refining chosen solutions in close partnership with PM and partnerteams. + Defining and implementing metrics, monitoring and testing framework for key features and KPIs. + Drive architectural changes by profiling and improving UX performance and frontend architecture, together with design and leadership. + Contributing to other engineer’s growth through code reviews, mentoring, and active collaboration. + Growing the team by participating in hiring, and creating collaborative, creative and inclusive culture.
+ Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM disciplines + 5 years or more of a proven track record for building and shipping production software + Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire services development cycle: design, implementation, deployment, and live site + Proven ability for tracking complex technical issues for running online services. + Passion for supporting great quality, high performance, and reliable system/API + Excellent written and oral communication skills.
